Butch Cassidy-ADOPTED!

Butch Cassidy is an 8 month-old Plott Hound/Lab mix pup who came to Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded county dog shelter along with his brother Sundance who has already been adopted. Immediately upon meeting this pair, we were impressed with their kind and gentle demeanor. Although Butch Cassidy is still a pup at 8 months-old, he has a very gentle disposition for a dog his age and while playful, is not nearly as rowdy or hyper as many pups his age. He loves playing tug and wrestling with other dogs but also loves to snuggle with his human friends. He keeps his crate spotless and runs to the door when it’s time to go outside so he should be able to pick up the housetraining routine very quickly in his new home. For a kid, he walks quite nicely on a leash. He would really excel in an obedience class with his new family and would certainly impress the trainer with his great personality and eagerness to please. He would love to find a home with an active family who can take him on lots of fun adventures. Butch Cassidy weighs about 44 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Butch Cassidy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age.
