Calloway-ADOPTED!

Setter and Spaniel lovers will want to meet our boy Calloway! This handsome 1 year-old pup with the cute polka-dotted ears and soft wavy coat came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter as a stray and when he wasn’t claimed, made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to relax in a foster home while searching for the permanent home of his dreams. We have found Calloway to be one very nice dog! While we don’t have any history on his pre-shelter life, we have been impressed with his friendly disposition and his eagerness to please. Calloway loves people and other dogs. He would enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home and a family who has plenty of time to spend with him. He does have a lot of energy so will need a family who will be able to give him plenty of exercise everyday. He would enjoy having a nice fenced yard to run around in and keep the squirrels at bay. Calloway has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so should continue crate-training as he adjusts to the house rules in his new home. He’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Calloway weighs about 32 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Calloway. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
