Cammie is an 11 year-old Puggle female who recently lost her home along with her pal Daisy Mae, a Jack Russell Terrier mix, because her owner had health issues and could no longer care for them. Cammie and Daisy Mae have lived together since 2010 but don’t necessarily need to be adopted together as they don’t seem very bonded to each other. Cammie has age-related hearing loss so does tend to follow the lead of other dogs so might enjoy having a canine pal in her new home. She’s a very sweet senior girl who’s easy-going and eager to please. Cammie is used to sleeping on furniture so she will need a home where that is allowed. She is housetrained but hates a crate so would do best with someone who can be home much of the time with her. Cammie pretty much ignores toys and let’s Daisy have all of the fun with them. Cammie loves to go for a walk and enjoys sniffing her way at a leisurely pace around the block. She would be a great companion for a retired person or couple who wants a low-key canine companion. Cammie has been on a diet and now is at her ideal weight of about 25 pounds. Since arriving at Canine Lifeline, she had a much needed dental cleaning with multiple extractions so now is feeling so much better. Her adoption fee is $150. Cammie is spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Cammie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so won’t place any of our dogs in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
