This lovely lady is Carrie, a 4 month-old Plott Hound mix female, who came to Canine Lifeline to find the perfect new home. She was found as a stray in a rural area and when no owner was found, she was ready to start a new chapter of her life with a new family. You won’t find a sweeter pup than Carrie. She’s a kind, gentle, submissive girl who has been very friendly with people and all other dogs she’s met since coming to us. Carrie can definitely hold her own playing with other pups though and she does like to play tug and wrestle with her fellow foster pup Freckles. She also enjoys snuggling with her human pals. While she was camera shy, Carrie did enjoy all of the attention and yummy treats that came her way during her photo shoot. She walks quite nicely on a leash for a pup and has had excellent crate manners in her foster home. We expect that Carrie should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. This girl has long legs and a slim build. She weighs about 22 pounds currently and we expect she may be about 45-50 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. Carrie is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Carrie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. At this time, we are only placing our dogs locally (within a 60 mile radius of Macedonia OH) and are not considering out of state applicants. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
