Casey is a 4 month-old Lab mix pup who’s ready to shower you with as many kisses as you want! This little guy was found as a stray at about 10 weeks of age running on a rural road with another dog and taken to the local shelter. No one claimed him to he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy life in a foster home while he searched for his permanent new home. Casey is a really good puppy. Although he’s not yet housetrained, he’s been working on it and has been very good about using pee pads in his foster home. Now that the weather has improved, his new family will want to get him outside on a regular basis to work on his housetraining skills. As a puppy, Casey loves to play with other dogs of course so would enjoy having an active, puppy-tolerant canine pal in his new home. He likes toys of all kinds so a toybox full of goodies just for him would keep him easily entertained. Casey needs to work on his leash skills and would love to enroll in a puppy class with his new family to start learning lots of new things. Casey currently weighs about 20 pounds and we expect he’ll be in the 40-50 pound range once he’s full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Casey. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
