Champ-PENDING

Looking for a big puppy who’ll keep you on your toes? That’s our adorable, huggable 1 year-old boy Champ. This very handsome boy with the most endearing disposition looks like a mix of Anatolian Shepherd and Lab. He loves everyone he meets including other dogs and has never met a toy he doesn’t like. Champ loves to fetch a ball and with some daily practice, he’ll soon be dropping it right at your feet to throw again. Champ was adopted from a shelter but returned after a short time as his family said he was too much puppy for them. Once back at the shelter, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could have fun in a foster home while searching for a perfect new home. Champ has tons of potential and just needs a person or family who has the time and energy to devote to an active young dog. He’s a little bit strong on the leash at this point but settles down when walking on a harness. We’re sure with some daily practice that he’ll soon be a pro on the leash. Champ knows the sit command and takes treats gently. He’s very attentive to his human friends and loves to learn so working with him on commands and obedience should be a rewarding experience. Champ loves riding in the car and hops right in eager to go for a ride. He doles out lots of kisses to his human friends and is happy to be a snuggle buddy too once playtime is over. You just can’t help but love this big, goofy boy with the charming smile. Champ weighs about 55-60 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Champ. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
