Charlie is a gorgeous 1 year-old English Springer Spaniel who lost his home after his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. Rather than going to a shelter, Charlie went into a foster home with a family friend who contacted us for help in finding a great new home for him. Charlie loves both people and other dogs and has never met a stranger. He has lots of energy so would love a home with an active family who would take him on lots of walks and hikes. Having another playful young dog in his home would also be great for Charlie. He tries to play with the older dogs in his foster home but they’re not fond of his energy level. Charlie is housetrained, knows the sit command, and loves to play with toys. He is very food-motivated and eager to learn. In his foster home, he is crated when no one is home and has done fine with that. If you’ve got the time and energy to work with an active young dog, Charlie would love to hear from you! Charlie weighs about 60 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Charlie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
