This adorable 6 year-old Shih Tzu mix female with the pretty milk chocolate and white coat is Chloe. Her former family could no longer keep her so she ended up at an overcrowded county dog shelter. From there, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she would be able to get some TLC while she searched for the perfect new home. Chloe required a good grooming upon arrival and was great for the groomer. Her pics were taken after her spa day. Chloe gets along well with other dogs who are on the mellow, quiet side. Rowdy puppy types would likely be too much for her. She loves people and would probably be fine as the only dog in the home provided her family could spend lots of time with her. Chloe has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it.  Cuddling and snuggling with her human friends is high on her priority list so she would make a great companion for someone who wants a sweet little lap dog. She walks nicely on a leash and would enjoy a couple of daily walks to stay in great shape. Chloe weighs about 15 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. Since arriving at Canine Lifeline, Chloe has has a dental cleaning and now has very pretty teeth! All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Chloe. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
