Chloe is an adorable cream and apricot Shih-Tzu pup who is estimated to be 4 years-old. She came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter with a poodle companion when their previous owner passed away. Both pups made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they would be able to enjoy life in a foster home while searching for perfect new homes. Chloe is extremely sweet and affectionate and loves to be a lap dog. She also enjoys chewing on antlers and bones in her foster home. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home but would also be fine as an only dog. As you can see in her photos, she often has her tongue out – super cute! She is a bit overweight at 15 pounds but her love for walks and a sensible diet should help her lose a few pounds quickly. Chloe has excellent crate manners and appears to be housetrained. She’s just an overall great girl who’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Her adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Chloe.
