Clancy is a very handsome long-legged 3 month-old pup with Aussie coloring and a slim build. He’s a true All-American mutt and since he was abandoned along with his two siblings on someone’s property in a rural area, we have no idea what breeds are in his family tree. The three pups were rescued and taken to the local shelter. From there, they made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy lots of TLC in a foster home while searching for their new forever homes. Clancy is a typically sweet pup who enjoys spending time with his human friends as well as playing chase and wrestling with his littermates. He has met a number of other dogs as well and has done well with everyone he’s met so would certainly enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home to show him the ropes. Clancy is doing well with crate-training in his foster home and will need to continue that along with housetraining in his adoptive home. He will need a home where his family has lots of time to spend with him so he can get outside every couple of hours during the day as he works on his house manners. He can’t be left alone for long workdays. Clancy hasn’t started leash training yet but he’s ready to give that a try too. Clancy weighs about 15 pounds currently and may be 40-50 pounds once full-grown. His adoption fee is $400. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for his age including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Clancy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
