Clancy is a gorgeous Shepherd mix pup who is estimated to be about 9 months to a year-old. He came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter with Cassidy, a dog who was thought to be his littermate. Both pups made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they would be able to enjoy life in a foster home while searching for perfect new homes. Clancy’s photos were taken shortly after he arrived here with us and he was very shy at that time. He has since come out of his shell and while he’s been very well-mannered in his foster home, he’s definitely let his inner puppy out and he enjoys playing with his fellow foster dogs. Clancy is a smart pup who picks up new routines quickly. He has excellent crate manners so should learn the housetraining routine with ease in his new home. Clancy has been working on his leash manners and is doing well in that department too. He’s just an overall great boy who’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Clancy weighs about 31 pounds currently and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
