Cleo is a fun-loving 1.5 year-old Border Collie mix female who looks like she might have some Aussie or Spaniel in her family tree too. She found herself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter along with her 7 month-old pups Comet and Cookie. All three made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for permanent new homes. Cleo loves her pups! We have rarely seen a mama dog who enjoys playing with them as much as Cleo does with her kiddos. Cleo is a very spunky, playful, and active young dog who’s still very much of a puppy herself. She’s also done very well with all other dogs she’s met since coming to us. We don’t have any history on this little family but have found that Cleo knows some commands and is very eager to sit for a treat. She has had excellent crate manners in her foster home so ought to be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. She’s also very affectionate and attentive to her human friends which will likely make obedience training with her very rewarding. Cleo does quite well on a leash and is looking forward to having lots of fun adventures in her new home. She weighs about 38 pounds and her adoption fee is $325. Cleo is spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Cleo. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
