If you’re looking for an active young dog to accompany you on jogs and hikes, Clover just might be your girl. This 1.5 year-old beauty looks like a mix of Border Collie and German Shepherd. She came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on her previous life. Clover is no shrinking violet and loves to be the center of attention. She plays very well with other dogs and would enjoy having another canine or two in her new home to pal around with. As an active herding breed, she would not do well left alone for long workdays as she likes to be busy. Clover has had excellent crate manners in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She approaches life with great gusto and enthusiasm and needs humans who can match her energy. Clover weighs about 48 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Clover. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
