Cody is one very lucky dog and we think he knows it. This sweet and loving 10 month-old Lab mix male was found as a stray in KY as a young pup in very poor condition. He was diagnosed with demodectic mange and was in foster care for many months as he recovered from this treatable condition. Once he was ready for adoption, he made the move to Canine Lifeline so he could find the perfect new home. As you can see from his photos, Cody now looks fantastic and while he has enjoyed life in the couple of foster homes he’s been in, he really looks forward to setting into his permanent new home. Cody can be a little shy meeting new people and feels much more confident when he’s around other dogs. He loves playing chase and wrestling with his fellow foster dogs so we do want to place him in a home where he will have a canine buddy. Once he makes friends with someone, Cody is your best buddy. He was very comfortable in front of the camera and enjoyed snuggling with his human friends during his photo session. Cody lived with kitties in his first foster home and did fine with them. He feels very comfortable in a crate and will likely be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. Cody weighs about 55 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Cody. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
