Connor-PENDING

Connor is a handsome 3 year-old Shepherd/Mountain Cur mix neutered male who came to Canine Lifeline along with his sister Cassidy so they would both have a second chance at a happy life. These two dogs were living in deplorable conditions and were seeking shelter under the dilapidated porch of a house. Someone would throw food to them each day but they were largely left to fend for themselves. Fortunately, they were surrendered to a local rescuer who then contacted us for help with them. Connor and Cassidy look like twins and although they get along well together, they do not need to be adopted as a pair. Connor seems to prefer female canine companions though should there be another dog in his new home. He knows a number of commands including sit and shake hands—will shake with one paw and then the other. He has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home. Connor may be a little too intense for cats as he showed a lot of interest in the resident vet clinic kitty. This guy is looking forward to his cozy new forever home where he will never have to worry whether he’ll have a warm, dry place to sleep that night or when and where his next meal might be coming from. For Connor, the simple things in life are truly the best! Connor weighs about 50 pounds and his adoption fee is $325. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Connor. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
