This lovely little lady is Cookie, a 7-8 month-old Beagle/Border Collie mix girl who came to Canine Lifeline along with her brother Comet and mom Cleo so they could work on finding themselves wonderful new homes. We don’t have any history on this little family as they came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter but they have all been delightful guests since their arrival. Cookie is just as sweet as can be. She’s friendly and affectionate with her human friends but can be a little shy at first when meeting new people. Once she makes friends with someone, you’ve got a buddy for life as she’s a very loyal, devoted little dog. Cookie has been very quiet and well-mannered in her foster home. She keeps her crate spotless so should be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in her new home. She gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home to show her the ropes. She is learning how much fun it is to go out for a walk on a leash and will soon be walking like a pro. Cookie currently weighs about 19 pounds and may be about 25 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $325. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Cookie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
