Daisy is a very sweet and loving 2 year-old Beagle mix female who came to us in early-June along with her five 3-week old pups. She had been living in an outdoor pen along with her tiny puppies in her previous home. Fortunately, her owner recognized that this wasn’t a good situation for Daisy and her little family so asked the local shelter for help with her. The shelter contacted us so Daisy and her pups made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in a safe indoor foster home. Her pups are now 9-10 weeks old and looking for homes of their own so Daisy is now ready to do the same. Daisy took great care of her pups but is now spayed so her days of motherhood are over. She’s now ready to become someone’s pampered pup and live the luxurious life she deserves. Daisy is a very kind and affectionate girl who gets along well with other dogs and seems to enjoy meeting new people. Likely having lived outdoors most of her life, she will need to continue work on housetraining in her adoptive home. Once her puppies were weaned, Daisy began to work on crate-training in her foster home and has done well with that. She walks nicely on a leash and would enjoy some daily exercise exploring her new neighborhood. An aboveground fenced yard would be ideal for Daisy as she does have a Beagle nose which can get her into trouble. Daisy can’t wait to experience how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be in her very own home. She weighs about 25 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
