Daisy-ADOPTED!

Shepherd lovers, meet Daisy! This bright-eyed and alert 5 year-old girl came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray with two other Shepherds. When she wasn’t claimed, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline along with Bo to be able to take her time finding the perfect new home. While we don’t have any history on her pre-shelter life, Daisy had clearly been cared for at some point in her life as she is very affectionate with people and is eager to sit for a treat. She may know other commands that we have yet to discover. Daisy also walks quite well on a leash for a big dog and is quick to do her business outside when out for a walk. She has done fine in her crate since she came to us and seems to have been familiar with a crate when she arrived. Daisy loves to give kisses to her human friends and sees herself as a big lap dog. She gets along well with other dogs so might enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home. A large yard with an aboveground fence would also give her the space to run and play to her heart’s content. Daisy is very food-motivated and can be quite grabby with treats so needs to work on taking food gently. Other than that, she’s been a truly delightful girl! Daisy weighs about 65 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. She has had a recent dental cleaning so now flashes a pearly white smile. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Daisy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
