Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is a 9 year-old Jack Russell mix female who recently lost her home along with her pal Cammie, the Puggle, because her owner had health issues and could no longer care for them. Daisy Mae and Cammie have lived together since 2010 but don’t necessarily need to be adopted together as they’re not really bonded with each other. Daisy is a great lap dog who loves to snuggle. She was used to sleeping with her owner and getting comfy under the covers. In spite of her age, Daisy still has plenty of spunk and loves playing ball and with stuffed toys. She walks well on a leash with a harness and enjoys going for walks and exploring. Daisy also enjoys riding in the car and went on road trips with her previous owner so is a good traveler. Daisy is housetrained and also used to a crate although she may not need one in her new home. Daisy weighs about 13 pounds. Since arriving at Canine Lifeline, she had a much needed dental cleaning with multiple extractions so now is feeling so much better. Her adoption fee is $150. Daisy Mae is spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Daisy Mae. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
