This sweet and loving 2.5 year-old Beagle is Delta. We don’t how this gentle girl came to be homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter but that was her plight. The shelter sent her to Canine Lifeline so she would have more time to find the perfect new home. Delta is a typical charming Beagle—kind and gentle with other dogs and people too. She’s largely over the crazy puppy years and ready to settle down in her new home and have lots of adventures with her new family. Delta enjoys playing with other dogs so a canine pal in her new home would keep her happy and entertained. She has done well with crate-training in her foster home so with some positive reinforcement and consistency on the part of her family, she should be able to master the house rules quickly. Delta’s a lovely girl who’s ready, willing, and able to shower her new family with lots of love and devotion. Delta weighs about 19 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Delta. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
