Diamond is a sweet and loving 9 month-old Husky/Shepherd mix female with one blue eye and lots of spunk! We don’t have any history on this kiddo as she came into a rural county dog shelter as a stray. She’s definitely not letting her past get her down though and is eager to make a fresh start with a new family. Diamond loves to play with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine pal in her new home or regular trips to doggie daycare or the dog park. She’s a clever girl who can easily get over a four foot fence so will need a tall privacy fence to keep her safe at home. Perhaps putting that creativity and enthusiasm to good use in an agility class would help keep her challenged mentally and physically! Diamond has done well with crate-training in her foster home so should pick up the housetraining routine quickly in her new home. She’s going to make an outstanding companion for the lucky person or family who has the time to devote to training and exercising a lively young dog. Diamond weighs about 35 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Diamond. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
