Dillon is a shy but sweet 5 year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix male who was found as a stray in a rural area and taken to the local shelter. When he wasn’t claimed, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline to enjoy life in a foster home while he searched for the home of his dreams. This little guy is very affectionate with his human friends but can be a little shy when first meeting new people. He loves playing with toys of all kinds. Dillon gets along well with the other small dogs in his foster home but we have seen him be a little protective of his favorite toys around other dogs. He would love a toy box full of treasures all for himself! Dillon does well in his crate so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. He weighs about 11 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Dillon. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
