Easton-ADOPTED!

We just LOVE this dog! Easton is one of the most kind and gentle dogs you’re ever going to meet. This sweet 7 year-old Lab mix came into a rural county dog shelter as a stray in very poor condition a few months ago. His skin was a hot mess and he looked like he had been living a nightmarish existence for some time. In spite of all of his physical ills, Easton was the sweetest dog at the shelter too so he was pulled and went into a foster home while his skin condition was treated. Once his skin had healed and he had reached a healthy weight, the shelter contacted us for help with him so Easton made the trip to Canine Lifeline recently so he could work on finding himself the perfect new home. We just can’t say enough great things about this dog. He will sit and shake hands for a treat and takes them very gently. Easton gets along well with other dogs so ought to do well with a calm canine buddy in is new home. Young rowdy pups are too much for this older gentleman. He would love a home where he could snooze on a comfy bed and get out for a nice walk every day too. Easton has had excellent crate manners in his foster home and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He’s the type of dog who is going to walk right into his new home and find his favorite comfy spot to watch the world go by. Easton weighs about 57 pounds and his adoption fee is $150. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Easton. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
