Edison is one fun little dog! This adorable 8 month-old Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua mix (or at least that’s our best guess) has the typical Terrier spunk, fearlessness, and enthusiasm. He was adopted from a shelter several months ago but recently returned because his family didn’t have time for him. From the shelter, Edison made the trip to Canine Lifeline so that he could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. Edison LOVES playing with other dogs and in his foster home, spends hours each day playing with his best buddy, our adoptable puppy Tater Tot. They love to play tug, chase each other , and wrestle. Edison would really enjoy having a playful dog his size in his new home. He’s also very friendly with people, enjoys going for walks, and has good manners in his crate. He will likely need a little work on housetraining in his new home but we expect he should be able to pick up the house rules quickly with some consistent, positive direction from his new family. Edison would love a toy box full of toys of all kinds in his new home. He will certainly keep his new family entertained with his antics. Edison weighs about 8-10 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Edison. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years.
