No one but no one wears pearls better than our little adoptable Beagle Eleanor! This 2 year-old little lady was found as a stray and brought to a rural county dog shelter. When she wasn’t claimed, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could enjoy life in a foster home while she searched for her permanent new home. Eleanor is a sweet little girl who is very food-motivated and camera-friendly. She really enjoyed all the she attention (and yummy treats) that came her way when her photos were taken! Eleanor gets along well with other dogs but would probably be fine in the home as an only dog provided her family has plenty of time to spend with her. She might express her displeasure at being left alone for long workdays as she loves being with her human friends. Eleanor has kept her crate spotless in her foster home so should be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in her new home. She’s going to make an outstanding friend for one Beagle-loving person or family. Eleanor weighs about 17 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Eleanor. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
