Ready for some puppy love? In that case, Elsa, our sweet, affectionate, and very cute 5 month-old Shepherd/Lab mix girl, would like to meet you. Elsa was an owner surrender at an overcrowded county dog shelter. While we don’t know what caused Elsa to lose her home, we have found her to be a very friendly, outgoing, and sociable dog who’s been good with all people and dogs that she’s met since she’s been with us. Elsa does loves to play with toys and other dogs so would certainly enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home. She’s got typical puppy energy so will need an active family who has plenty of time to give her the attention, exercise, and training that she needs. Elsa has been working on crate-training and housetraining in her foster home and should continue both in her foster home. She seems to be a smart girl who catches on quickly. Elsa would love to be challenged in an obedience class with her new family and become the best canine good citizen she can be. Elsa weighs about 30 pounds currently but is still growing. We expect she will be 50-60 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Elsa. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
