Elsa is a super-pretty 1 year-old Aussie mix who has a kind and gentle disposition to go with her stunning good looks. Hard to believe that this freckle-faced beauty came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray and wasn’t claimed there but that was indeed her predicament. To give her more time to find the perfect new home, Elsa made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for the home of her dreams. Elsa gets along very well with other dogs but might be fine as the only dog in her new home provided her family has plenty of time to spend with her. She loves attention from her human friends so much so that she does like to jump up for affection and hugs. She has been working on keeping all four paws on the ground and is finding out that lots of great things come her way when she does that. Elsa is a smart girl and a quick study who picks up new routines with ease. She walks fairly well on a leash for a young dog and will only improve with daily practice in her new home. Elsa is sure to turn lots of heads when she’s out for a walk and will probably soon be a real favorite in her new neighborhood. Elsa weighs about 40 pounds and her adoption fee is $325. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Elsa. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
