Elsa-ADOPTED!

Elsa is a cute 1 year-old girl who looks like she might be a mix of Pug and Shiba Inu. That’s just a guess, of course, as she came to us as a stray from a county dog shelter so we have no history on her. Elsa is an active and spunky girl who gets along well with other dogs when she’s out and about for walks but doesn’t care to live with another dog. She loves her people and doesn’t want to share time with any other animals. Elsa gets very attached to her humans and may have a tendency to be overly protective so she will need an experienced owner who will keep her on an even keel. She’s done well with crate-training in her foster home so should pick up the housetraining routine in her new home with some patience and consistency on the part of her new family. After playtime, she settles down nicely in her crate for a nap. Elsa hasn’t had much experience on a leash yet but she’s eager to learn and will soon be walking like a pro. She’s very food-motivated so working with her on obedience should be a rewarding experience. Elsa weighs about 20 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Elsa. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
