Looking to pick up the pace at your house? Ember’s here to help! This bright-eyed and alert 3-4 month-old Cattledog mix pup came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter and is ready to find the home of her dreams in 2020. She is an active puppy who likes to stay busy so needs an active family who’ll have plenty of time to work with her on housetraining, obedience, and to engage in lots of fun and games. Ember is a smart pup who picks up new routines quickly and is very eager to learn. She has been enjoying life in a foster home with the litter of 7 Cattledog mix pups and has fun playing with them. She loves people and enjoys jumping in the laps of her human friends and showering them with kisses. She is not yet housetrained and will need a home where she can go outside every 2-3 hours or so during the day while she works on her house manners. She would not do well left alone for long workdays. Ember has begun crate-training in her foster home and should continue that in her adoptive home. Puppies are lots of fun but also a lot of work so please be sure you have the time and energy to devote to raising a pup before submitting an online application. Ember weighed 12.1 pounds on Dec 17 when she was spayed and we expect she’ll be in the 40-50 pound range once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ember. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
