Emmy Lou-ADOPTED!

Ready to add some puppy energy to your life? Emmy Lou, our super-sweet 5-6 month-old Beagle mix girl can help with that! This little dynamo is one fun dog who loves everyone and everything. She had been abandoned from a vehicle in a rural area. Fortunately, there was a witness to this and that Good Samaritan immediately scooped her up and took her to the local shelter so that she was safe. Not surprisingly, she wasn’t claimed there so made the trip to Canine Lifeline to enjoy life in a foster home while searching for her perfect new home. Emmy Lou is all puppy and will need a very active family to keep her busy. She loves playing with other dogs so would benefit from having a playful canine buddy in her new home along with a fenced yard to allow her to play safely to her heart’s content. Emmy Lou loves playing with her fellow foster dogs and then taking a power nap in her crate before it’s time to play again. She has been doing well with crate-training in her foster home and will need to continue that in her adoptive home as she works on her house manners. Emmy Lou is working on her leash skills and will need some daily practice in her new home. You won’t find a sweeter pup than Emmy Lou so if you’ve got the time and energy for a young dog, she would like to meet you! She weighs about 11 pounds currently and may be about 20 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. Emmy Lou is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
