Meet Felicity, a beautiful 2 year-old Feist mix who looks to many who meet her like a tiny Chocolate Lab. Felicity is one of 11 dogs who were abandoned on a farm over the last couple of years. While the owner of the property did his best to care for all of them, they were all living in an outdoor pen. Now that the property is for sale, the dogs needed to leave so all of them made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for permanent new homes. Felicity came to us with her two 4 month-old pups, Finley and Fable, who will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks. This lovely girl is very kind and affectionate with people and has been good with other dogs too since coming to us. She has been working on crate-training in her foster home so with some positive and consistent direction from her new family, should soon have the house rules mastered. Felicity is still learning what walking on a leash is all about and was afraid of her bath but she’s a smart girl who responds well to a kind word and gentle hand. We can’t wait to see her enjoying the comforts of her very own home! Felicity weighs about 17 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Felicity. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
