Finn is a sweet and loving 3 month-old pup (estimated birthdate mid-April) who looks to us to be a mix of Lab and Catahoula Leopard Dog. Since he and his brother Sawyer came into a shelter as strays we don’t know anything about their family tree. Finn is a very good puppy. He is very affectionate with his foster mom and loves to give lots of kisses. He currently spends his days playing outside with his buddies and then is crated at night. He is adjusting well to crate-training but is NOT housetrained. Finn will need a family who is able to let him outside every 2-3 hours during the day as he works on housetraining. He cannot be left alone for long workdays. Finn is a smart puppy who picks up new routines quickly and is very eager to please. He’s going to make an outstanding companion for the family who has the time and energy to devote to properly raising a puppy. Finn weighed a solid 13 pounds on July 1 and we expect he will be 50 pounds or more when full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Finn. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
