Hound lovers are going to be crazy about our trio of Beagle/Basset mix pups! Fletcher is one of three brothers who came to us from an overcrowded county shelter after having been surrendered by their owner. With his black and white markings, he looks quite different from his brothers so we think there must be some Border Collie in the family tree that broke through in Fletcher. He is about 3 months-old, having been born in late-May. Fletcher is a very sweet and friendly pup who plays nicely with other dogs and makes friends with everyone that he meets. He spend his days in his foster home playing outside with his brothers and other foster puppies and then sleeps in a crate at night. Fletcher is NOT yet housetrained so his family will need to be able to take him outside about every 2-3 hours during the day as he works on his house manners. He can’t be left alone for long workdays. If you’ve got the time and energy to give a puppy the life that he needs, Fletcher will reward you with years of companionship and plenty of entertainment too! Fletcher weighed about 10.7 pounds when he was neutered on Aug 10 so we expect he will be about 50-60 pounds once full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Fletcher. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
