Forrest-ADOPTED!

Forrest is a very active and outgoing 5-6 year-old Cattle Dog mix neutered male who was adopted from us about 2.5 years ago but now finds himself in need of a new home as the other dog in the home has recently become aggressive towards him. This high energy boy loves to play with other dogs and toys so needs an active person or family to keep him busy. He would love to have a large fenced-in yard to run and play in. Forrest has also lived with cats and chooses to sniff them and walk away so ought to be able to adjust to living with kitties in a new home. He knows some commands and walks well with an Easy Walk Harness. Forrest is both house-trained and crate-trained so should be able to master the house rules quickly in his new home. He loves riding in the car and would enjoy exploring all the great hiking trails in Northeast OH with his new family this fall. Forrest weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Forrest. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
