Foxy is a very friendly and outgoing 4 year-old All American mutt who looks like she might be a mix of Beagle and Feist. She was one of 11 dogs who came to us from a farm after the farm was put up for sale and the dogs were losing their home. We were told that all of the dogs had been abandoned on the property at various times and that the farm owner did his best to care for them although they were all living in an outdoor pen. Foxy has adjusted well to indoor life since coming to Canine Lifeline. She has gotten used to a crate in her foster home and should continue crate-training in her adoptive home as she works on her house manners. Foxy is a quiet girl in her crate but is a little bundle of energy once she gets out to run around. She acts much younger than her estimated 4 years. Foxy is very friendly with people as well as other dogs. She does need work on her leash manners as she loves to pull so will do best with a harness when out for a walk. Foxy is a very smart girl who’s eager to please and is certain to be a terrific companion with some positive reinforcement training and plenty of exercise. She weighs about 20 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Foxy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
