Meet Georgia, a friendly and outgoing 1 year-old Lab/Mountain Cur mix female who’s a great size at only about 32 pounds. Georgia has very interesting ears which will definitely make her stand out in a crowd. This sweet girl came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on her previous life but she came very highly recommended by the shelter volunteers. Georgia LOVES playing with other dogs so we would love to see her go to a home with another playful resident pup to keep her busy. She has shown excellent crate manners in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Georgia can be a little shy and submissive in new situations but it doesn’t take her long to warm up once she knows someone wants to be her friend. Georgia is very food-motivated and can catch treats on the fly like a pro. Nothing gets past this girl! Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Georgia. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
