Gilbert-ADOPTED!

Calling all Boston Terrier fans! Gilbert is looking for a new home! This handsome and very friendly 1-2 year-old Boston (mix?) came to us from a local county dog shelter because he had a cherry eye on his right eye which needed surgical repair. His photos were taken a couple of days after his surgery so his right eye may look a little red in some of the pics. He has recovered well and is ready to make a fresh start with a new family. Gilbert is very dog friendly so would enjoy having a canine pal or two in his new home. He’s also been very friendly with all people that he’s met. There’s no such thing as a stranger in Gilbert’s world! Gilbert has excellent crate manners so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He trots along nicely on a leash and is going to make a terrific companion for one very lucky person or family. Gilbert weighs about 18 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Gilbert. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
