Meet Gretchen, an adorable 11-12 week old All-American Mutt (the very best kind of dog!), who’s got loads of personality packed into that cute little body. She came to Canine Lifeline along with her mom Kami and siblings back in mid-May when she was about 4 weeks old. Her mom looks like a Feist mix but we think Gretchen bears a striking resemblance to a Boxer puppy so maybe her papa was part Boxer. Only a DNA test will reveal the whole story! Gretchen was the tiniest of the litter but she has finally had a growth spurt and now weighs about 8.5 pounds. Her mom weighs about 30 pounds and we suspect she’ll be about that size once full-grown. Gretchen is a very smart puppy who loves to play with other dogs and toys of all kinds. She likes to “talk” to her human friends and always likes to get the last word in. This little lady has been very pampered in her foster home and enjoys being held and cuddled by her human friends. We are especially fond of this pup and can’t wait to see her enjoying life in her very own home. Her adoption fee is $350. Gretchen is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Gretchen. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. At this time, we are only placing our dogs locally (within a 60 mile radius of Macedonia OH) and are not considering out of state applicants. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
