This very handsome gentleman with the coat of many colors is Gulliver. He found himself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could have fun in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. Gulliver is about a year-old and likely has many breeds in his family tree. We think the predominant ones are Beagle and Cattle Dog but that’s just our best guess. Gulliver is a very friendly guy who seems to like all dogs and people that he meets. He loves to play so would enjoy having an active, adventure-loving family who’ll keep him busy and entertained. Gulliver has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He loves to go for a walk and likes to keep his nose to the ground in true Hound fashion. Gulliver may know the sit command but was pretty excited and distracted while we were working with him on that so we can’t be certain. He was shy meeting the resident vet clinic kitty so may be fine living in a home with cats. Gulliver is sure to get lots of compliments when he’s out for a stroll in his new neighborhood! Gulliver weighs about 34 pounds and his adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Gulliver. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
