We just can’t say enough good things about Harley! This gorgeous 1 year-old White German Shepherd/Husky mix female with the mesmerizing blue eyes was surrendered after her owner could no longer care for her. From the shelter, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could enjoy life in a foster home while she searched for a permanent new home. This girl has been a real gem in every respect. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves to play chase and wrestle with her fellow foster dogs. Harley has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can never make that guarantee when she goes into a new home. She has shown no interest in trying to jump the four-foot fence in her foster home which is great news for a Husky mix! Harley likely hasn’t had much experience on a leash yet but she’s eager to please and more than willing to learn. She will sit for a treat and the sky’s the limit as to what else she can learn. Enroll this girl in an obedience class and watch her excel. Harley was perfect for her photo shoot and posed like a pro! She’s a smart girl who’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Harley weighs about 48 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Harley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
