This very lovely and well-mannered lady is Hazel, a 2.5 year-old Boxer/Beagle mix female who is most certainly as sweet as they come. She was surrendered to a county dog shelter along with her 7 month-old pup Hannah by their owner who could no longer keep them. We don’t know what circumstances led to them losing their home but Hazel definitely has a brighter future ahead of her now that she’s out of that home. She had had several litters of pups in her short life while under their care but is now spayed and eager to become someone’s pampered pup for a change. We just can’t say enough great things about this dog. She has been friendly and affectionate with all people that she’s met since coming to us and has gotten along well with all other dogs too. Hazel is calm and well-mannered in her foster home. She has kept her crate spotless so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. Hazel also walks nicely on a leash and is looking forward to lots of fun adventures in her new home. She weighs about 35 pounds and her adoption fee is $325. Hannah is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Hazel. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
