Hershey-ADOPTED!

This handsome 1 year-old Pointer/Mountain Cur mix with the short tail and wavy coat is Hershey. He came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so he could take his time finding the perfect new home. While we have no history on his pre-shelter life, we’ve been impressed with what a nice pup he is. Hershey has been very friendly with all dogs and people that he’s met since coming to us. He would likely enjoy having a playful canine buddy in his new home or regular trips to doggie daycare to keep his canine social skills in shape. Hershey walks nicely on a leash for a youngster and is looking forward to lots of fun outings with his new family. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He’s going to make a fabulous companion and outstanding walking, hiking, or jogging buddy for one lucky person or family. Hershey weighs about 32 pounds and his adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Hershey. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
