Holly is a tiny 4 year-old Chihuahua female who came to Canine Lifeline along with brother Timmy. Their owner lost her home and was no longer able to keep her dogs so both were shelter-bound when a good friend intervened to find a rescue for them. Holly is a pint-sized cutie weighing in at a whopping 8.5 pounds. She’s a little shy at first in new situations but warms up quickly, especially when her brother Timmy is around to boost her confidence. She has always lived with him so it would be wonderful if they could stay together. We will place Holly separately though provided she has another little canine pal in her new home. Holly has excellent crate manners so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She loves lots of hugs and cuddles and will give gentle kisses of appreciation in return. Holly’s adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Holly. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
