Huck-ADOPTED!

Huck is a gorgeous 3 month-old (estimated birthdate mid-April) Aussie mix pup with a bobtail who came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter along with pups Finn and Sawyer. He looks so different from them that we aren’t sure whether he’s one of their littermates or just a pup who happened to join the other two at the shelter. Huck is a very spunky pup who loves to play rough with Finn and Sawyer. He’s a smart pup who picks up new routines quickly. He currently spends his days playing outside with his buddies and then is crated at night. He is adjusting well to crate-training but is NOT housetrained. Huck will need a family who is able to let him outside every 2-3 hours during the day as he works on housetraining. He cannot be left alone for long workdays. Huck is going to need an active family who will give him the chance to live his best Aussie life. Obedience training followed by agility would be great so that he can be constantly challenged and kept busy. Huck weighed 10 pounds on July 1 and we expect he will be about 40-45 pounds when full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Huck. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
