Hudson

Hudson is one GREAT dog! This 1-2 year-old Black Lab mix with the slim build found himself looking for a new home when his owner could no longer care for him. He was shelter-bound when a rescuer intervened and asked if we could help him. Hudson came to us highly recommended and he has not disappointed. He is super-friendly with both people and other dogs. He also met the resident kitty at the vet clinic and seemed to be OK with her too. Hudson loves to wrestle and play with other dogs so would certainly enjoy having a playful canine buddy in his new home. He shares his foster home with adoptable dog Milo and they are wonderful together so anyone looking for a great pair of dogs ought to check out our Boxer Milo along with Hudson. Hudson has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too. He walks quite well on a leash using a harness. Hudson still has some puppy mouthiness from time to time but does respond well to correction. He is going to make an outstanding companion for one lucky person or family. Hudson weighs about 50 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Hudson. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
