Ivory is a very friendly and outgoing 1.5 year-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix female who’s eager for a home of her very own. Although she loves to play with other dogs in her foster home, she doesn’t like to share toys, treats, chewies etc with other dogs so would do best in a home as an only dog. She might enjoy doggie daycare but then relaxing in her own home without having to compete with any other canines there. Ivory doesn’t do well with cats so will need a kitty-free home. She does need a yard with an aboveground fence as she doesn’t respect an invisible fence. Ivory will pick up the housetraining rules quickly in her new home. She also does very well in her crate in her foster home. She knows some commands and walks nicely on a leash after she gets over the initial excitement of going for a walk. Ivory is going to make a great pal for someone who has the time and energy to devote to an active young dog. She weighs about 62 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ivory. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
