Jasmine-PENDING

Meet Jasmine, a very pretty 1 year-old Shepherd/Lab mix female who came into a rural county dog shelter along with her sister Jessie. We don’t know whether they were surrendered by their owner or found as strays but when they were cleared to leave the overcrowded county dog shelter, they both made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy some TLC in a foster home while searching for permanent new homes. For a young dog, Jasmine has been quite a calm and gentle girl. She’s been a little shy and intimidated when she’s around a group of dogs so doggie daycare might be a bit overwhelming for her. She might be fine as the only dog in the home provided her family has plenty of time to spend with her. Jasmine warms up to new people quickly and seems to enjoy the attention from her human friends. She was an absolute pro in the front of the camera and acted like she was meant for a starring role! Jasmine is very eager to please and would love to enroll in an obedience class with her new family so that she can be the best canine good citizen. She has had excellent crate manners in her foster home so we expect she should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. Jasmine has been working on her leash manners and with some daily practice in her new home, she should soon be walking like a pro. She weighs about 46 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Jasmine. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
