Jasmine-ADOPTED!

Jasmine is a beautiful Shepherd/Lab mix female who came into an overcrowded county shelter as a stray. She is estimated to be about 6 years-old. Jasmine was a bit overwhelmed by all the hustle and bustle at the shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax and take her time finding the perfect new home. She looked like such a kind and gentle dog in her shelter photo and she has proven to be exactly that. Jasmine has been very quiet and well-mannered since she’s been with us. She loves affection from her human friends but isn’t demanding about it. Jasmine gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t appreciate rowdy puppies in her face. If there’s a canine buddy in her new home, it ought to be a calm, confident dog who can help Jasmine feel at home in her new surroundings. She would likely do fine as the only dog in the home provided her family has plenty of time to spend with her. Jasmine would be a great companion for a retired person or family who wants a dog on the calm side but one who still has plenty of get up and go for walks, hikes, or even short jogs. Jasmine has been working on crate-training since she’s been with us and doing well with that. She walks very nicely on a leash and is a pleasure to take out for a walk. Jasmine is the type of dog who’s likely to walk right into her new house and make herself at home. We look forward to seeing her living her life as a treasured member of her new family! Jasmine weighs about 44 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Jasmine. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs.
