Jax is a very friendly and outgoing 6 year-old Beagle mix neutered male who was adopted from us five years ago but recently returned when his family went through a divorce and no one could take him. He was very well cared for in that home and his family seemed very sad to see him go. It’s also sad for Jax to have to start over in a new home but he is making the best of it. He is sharing his foster home with other dogs currently and does well with them. He is crate-trained and should be able to master the house rules quickly in his new home. Jax knows many commands and is very food-motivated so can learn new things quickly. Among his many talents are shaking hands and sitting up to beg for a treat. Jax walks well on a leash and enjoys going for walks. He would be happiest with a new family who is home much of the time so his alone time would be minimal. Jax would be an ideal companion for active retirees who are looking for a devoted companion. Jax is eager to find his new forever home and is hoping that happens for him soon. He weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Jax. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
