Looking for an active dog to keep you moving everyday? Then you ought to meet Juniper, our beautiful 1.5 year-old Aussie mix spayed female with the gorgeous blue and brown mixed eyes. This girl has lots of get up and go and will make sure you stick to your daily exercise regimen. Juniper found herself homeless at a rural county dog shelter so we have no history on her previous life. She made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. Juniper gets along well with other dogs but can play rough so would need a canine companion who enjoys that style of play. She has done well with crate-training in her foster home and keeps her crate spotless. We anticipate that she should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. Juniper would do best with an active family who would involve her in lots of adventures—hikes, jogs, walks, and maybe even give her a shot at agility training. She will excel in an obedience class with her new family as she loves a challenge. Juniper weighs about 29 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Juniper. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
